What a year it's been! Our biggest highlight was moving the salon to Cromwell. It was a big change, but it turned out to be an amazing decision. We are filled with gratitude and appreciation for another prosperous and healthy year. None of this would have been possible without our amazing community of clients, vendors, and staff. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all of you for your unwavering loyalty and support. As we step into 2024, we are excited about the continued success that lies ahead.
Now, let's look back at some of the key highlights from 2023:
This past September, we moved to Cromwell from Middletown, which was both joyous and challenging. We’re now situated in a charming brick building at 327 Main Street. The new salon is spacious and comfortable, providing our clients with plenty of room to unwind and indulge in their salon experience.
The interior design is modern and stylish, with a gorgeous color scheme that was selected to create a visually captivating space. We now have a state-of-the-art salon with a separate color room and a room for silent appointments. We continually aim to give our clients the finest salon experiences possible.

We were excited to announce the launch of Connecticut’s first-ever cosmetology apprentice program in April. Madison (shown left) is our first apprentice to take advantage of the program, which offers a unique opportunity to pursue a rewarding career in cosmetology. Through a combination of on-the-job training and classroom instruction, employees of the salon will be equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in this field.
Jessica, the salon’s owner, and her husband Woodrow, attended the Tony Robbins' Unleash the Power Within seminar. This long weekend program is designed to help participants tap into their inner strength and power through a series of lectures, exercises, and workshops.
Both Jess and her husband walked over the hot coals at the seminar! The goal of the firewalk is to feel as if you can do anything.
Jessica's ultimate goal is to consistently deliver the finest salon experience to her valued clients, while also offering her employees exceptional leadership.
We so enjoy attending the Masello Salon Services of New England hair show in Rhode Island. We had an amazing time and were blown away by the incredible talent and creativity on display.
Jessica, her husband Woodrow, and salon employees, Jaden and Madison, loved seeing the talented artists who showcased their skills and shared their knowledge with us. They push the boundaries of hairstyling and remind us why we’re so passionate about this industry!
Our salon achieved Level 1 certification in IBE (Invisible Beaded Extensions). This innovative attachment method involves placing a row of beads around the hair shaft in a horseshoe shape and closely stitching the extensions or wefts into the beads. The result is truly magical ―the beads become invisible, creating a seamless blend with your natural hair. With the option of applying hair color during the process, you can achieve your desired look in just about 3 hours at our salon.
Not only do Invisible Bead Extensions add length and volume, but they are also incredibly comfortable and require minimal maintenance.
